Don't whine
Don't Complain
Don't make excuses
What he is trying to say is that you shouldn't be whine for things, you shouldn't complain about things being complicated, and you shouldn't make excuses about things and to not be lazy. For example if things start to get hard keep trying and try to do your best instead of not even trying. Also if you never try then you never know if you could accomplish it.
